Our Services and Specialties
Neurology
UVNN provides general neurology care and subspecialty expertise. General neurology consultations cover such disorders as carpal tunnel syndrome, migraine, back pain, neck pain, epilepsy, stroke, polyneuropathy, Alzheimer's, Parkinson's, and more. We also provide subspecialty expertise in clinical neurophysiology, electrodiagnostic medicine, multiple sclerosis, sleep disorders, and botulinum toxin injections. Diagnostic testing services include EMG, evoked potentials, EEG, MRI and CT interpretation, as well as sleep studies.
Neurosurgery
We offer consultations for the broad spectrum of neurosurgical conditions, including intra-cranial, spinal, and peripheral nerve disorders. We encourage office consultation referrals for all neurosurgical conditions. Appropriate patients may be offered surgical management at Alice Peck Day Memorial Hospital, where craniotomies, spine surgeries, and peripheral nerve surgeries are routinely performed. Also, when necessary, we will expedite the coordination of a patientís care with an appropriate tertiary care center.
