Neurology Services

Neurology is a medical specialty that deals with the brain, spinal cord and its many connections. Many different problems can develop in this system, some related to lifestyle and some may run in families. You may have been referred to one of our practice physicians to help identify the source of your problem or for specific treatment recommendations.

UVNN provides general neurology care and subspecialty expertise. General neurology consultations cover such disorders as carpal tunnel syndrome, migraine, back pain, neck pain, epilepsy, stroke, polyneuropathy, Alzheimer's, Parkinson's, and more. We also provide subspecialty expertise in clinical neurophysiology, electrodiagnostic medicine, multiple sclerosis, sleep disorders, and botulinum toxin injections. Diagnostic testing services include EGM, evoked potentials, EEG, MRI and CT interpretation, as well as sleep studies.
